Bru Corbella i Rigual

Bru Corbella Rigual is a pianist (Higher Degree in Classical and Contemporary Piano Performance, ESMuC), composer (Master’s Degree in Musical Composition with New Technologies, UNIR) and pedagogue (Postgraduate teacher training in IEM methodology, Emilio Molina PhD.), understanding musical improvisation as the core of learning.

He is a teacher at the Mestre Montserrat Conservatory of Music in Vilanova i la GeltrĂș with several artistic projects and is an active composer of videogame soundtracks. He has a lied duo (piano and voice) with the singer Andreu Miret and is part of the collective of holistic artists Improkkake, placing special interest in free improvisation with electronic instruments and interdisciplinary art.

He is the lead composer of the independent videogame studio Gungin Studios, a team with which he has won the award for the best Spanish videogame made at a Game Jam in 2024. He has also won three first prizes for the best video game in Vilanova i la GeltrĂș, Barcelona and Seville. He is currently developing the videogame Stay as his main project, on which he also works as a designer.
